Wedding in the old town of Dresden and in the Lingner Castle
Marina & Stefan
That two Hochzeitsfotografen trust me and let me capture their day in pictures fills me with pride. Marina's family traveled from Brazil for the wedding and Stefan's partly from Russia. Actually, the two of them wanted to celebrate on a small scale, but as so often, it ends up being more and more and that was a good thing, because it wasn't only for everyone it was an unforgettable party! The bridal couple chose one of the most picturesque backdrops in Germany for their wedding. So, full of anticipation, I drove to Dresden at sunrise. In one of the design apartments in the living house in the middle of the old town, the Brazilian women, some of whom just arrived by plane the night before, are made up by the make-up artists and styled. In the midst of all the hustle and bustle, the bride sits and drinks her coffee seemingly calmly . The groom, on the other hand, is a bit more tense: Breakfast was hardly touched at all, the coffee was cold, he was constantly on the phone and took an aspirin in between to be able to celebrate well despite the cold and tiredness. It's a good thing that the best man can't be disturbed. After the wedding ceremony in the Dresden City Museum and a walk across the Brühlsche Terrassen in the old town, where I capture a few wonderful portraits of the bridal couple, we drive to the Lingner Castle, the middle of three fairytale castles on the Elbe slope. A glass of delicious wine from the local mountain in hand, everyone enjoys the mild late summer weather surrounded by old walls and looks beyond the colorful foliage of the vines to the Elbe valley and the many towers of the old town - perfect for a second bridal couple shooting, this time in the vineyard in the warm light the setting sun. And you can see that not only Brazilians can party really well if you read the picture story to the end.
